Mr Bassetti and Mr Niewöhner, congratulations on the takeover of MAQSIMA by the BASSETTI Group! Can you give us an insight into the strategic importance of this step for your company?

David Bassetti: Thank you very much! The acquisition of MAQSIMA is a very important step for the BASSETTI Group in our long-term growth strategy. It enables us to create synergies at an international level and expand our service portfolio. MAQSIMA brings strong expertise in the field of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and technical management systems (TMS), which perfectly complements our own solutions in the field of technical data and knowledge management. This will enable us to further expand our presence in the German market in particular and offer our customers an even more comprehensive solution.

Christoph Niewöhner: The collaboration with BASSETTI is a real benefit for us. We share the same values and have the same vision: to offer our customers real added value through innovative software solutions. The integration into the BASSETTI Group not only gives us access to new markets, but also to valuable resources and synergies that help us to continuously develop our products. We are a strong player in the LIMS market, particularly in the DACH region. BASSETTI's international focus will enable us to further strengthen our position at an international level. We have become a leading provider in the LIMS market in the DACH region, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry and other sectors.

How do you see the cultural integration between BASSETTI and MAQSIMA? What values do the two companies share and how do you ensure harmonious cooperation?

Our customers can look forward to a seamless integration of MAQSIMA's solutions with the BASSETTI Group's comprehensive data management ecosystem. This will not only enable us to better support legal requirements, but also to optimise day-to-day work in the laboratory through simplified processes and an end-to-end solution. In the short term, we will be investing in research and development in particular in order to further expand our innovative edge.

We want to continue our expansion and make targeted acquisitions in order to open up new markets and further strengthen our existing expertise. Our aim is to create solutions that are recognised as benchmarks for industrial efficiency and knowledge management.

Christoph Niewöhner: ‘Our vision for the coming years is to continue to be an innovation leader in the field of laboratory and HSEQ software. In close cooperation with BASSETTI, we can expand our portfolio and set new standards in the LIMS and HSEQ sector. We want to drive digitalisation in our target industries and help our customers to make their processes even more efficient and secure. In five to ten years' time, we want to be the first port of call for quality, safety and innovation in these areas.
